PHOTOJOURNALISM

TELLING A STORY

Part of what I love about photography is that it captures what is happening in the exact moment. It'll never happen again. People change, places changes, and moments can't be recreated, but they can be remembered in an image.

EXPERIENCE

The photos in this gallery depict Carmel High School students' lives from 2017-2020. I spent three years on the CHS HiLite newsmagazine staff documenting sports events, performances, clubs, home life, friendships, classrooms- photographing the dedication of CHS students to what they love.

A few assignments were also taken for the Current in Carmel city newspaper.

As of August 2020 I've started as a photographer on the Western Kentucky University Talisman web staff and Herald staff.
